Now when the car was cleaned out it was time to test fit the TRD widebody kit. I’ve done smaller adjustments on the kit but nothing major.        Now when most of the work was done to the body I took it to the paint shop to let the guys there do the finishing touches on the body before painting it.  And as you can see the roof, backdoor and doors are brand new. The door handles are removed but later on you will notice that I changed my mind on that and bought a new set of doors again……..

The car has now been painted for the first of two times. I choose to paint it in Quicksilver.

Before I put everything back I choose to spray noise dampening material inside the car. Hopefully it works just fine.      And for the under carriage I sprayed everything with rust protection.

Now it was time to put together the interior. I’m not completely done with it yet.             New parts for the interior   The new Sparco steering wheel with Snap-off function

The front sub frame is completely restored with R2 racing bushings. I also used the camber correction kit for the upper control arms. Just picked it up from the paint shop.  Fully assembled  Mounting it back on the car.  The front setup is as follow. Tein Flex coilovers with Tein EDFC R2 racing bushings everywhere Titan Motorsports Sway bars  The rebuilding of the rear sub frame.        The differential is restored and mounted back.  An overview of all the parts, R2 racings bushings is also used here.

A few more pictures from the build up. Tein EDFC parts  Mounted on one of the front coilovers.  The engine bay is starting to be filled up with parts. Greddy oil catch tank and the ABS unit isn’t that nice looking so I ordered a SP racing ABS  cover. It makes the engine bay look much cleaner.   Overall pic  TRD strut tower bar painted in Quicksilver.  Another overall picture now with a HKS complete intake pipe purchased from Titan Motorsports with a ugly green filter that I won’t use. The filter wasn’t included with the intake pipe but I have it lying around so it’s just there as a test.

The differential with the pump for the oil cooling system that we have here in Europe. This is a part of the pipes and hoses from the oil pump and it doesn’t look that good  This is one of the pipes that I have grinded with sandpaper and treated it with Zink. Then I took a shrinking hose over it.   The old oil cooler for the differential wasn’t that nice so here’s a new one.
